The venue is adaptable for a wide range of gatherings, from grand receptions to cozy elopements, and is equipped with essentials like ceremony and reception spaces, coordination services, and catering options. For Weddings up to 30 people. Enjoy an intimate ceremony with the beauty of the Matanuska Glacier as your background of our small ceremony location.  After your vows, the good times continue at charming Sheep Mountain Lodge. Price includes use of our banquet room and green house.

Glacierview Ceremony

Helicopter Micro-Wedding

Join Matanuska Glacier Retreat, in Partnership with Sheep Mountain Air, to maximize your micro-wedding. We accommodate larger groups out on the glacier, with tons of available options.

Small Ceremony Site

This site is perfect for a small group of up to 30 people and a short ceremony or photo shoot.  The site includes a 12’x12′ pavilion and helicopter landing pad.  No restroom, water, or electricity.  Parking limited to 8 cars. No buses. Base price of $1000 includes up to two hours use of the site plus use of the Sheep Mountain Ldge Banquet Room and Greenhouse.

Ceremony only option: $600 for up to two hours use of the site mid-week (Monday through Friday excluding Holidays)
